Who is responsible for your data
Traveli is published by Traveli. For any question about your data, write to contact@traveli.app.
The data the app uses
- Your account: your email address and password. The password is encrypted by our authentication service: nobody, not even us, can read it.
- Your profile: the first name you choose, shown to the members of your trips.
- The content of your trips: name, destination, dates, availability, votes, messages and reactions, expenses and how they’re split, budget, ideas, itinerary, bookings (including the booking codes you add) and packing list.
- On your phone only: your login session and, while you create your account, the invitation code you opened.
The app uses neither your location, nor your contacts, nor your photos. It contains no ads and no trackers.
Why we use it
Only to make Traveli work: to log you in, show your trips, sync information between members and calculate who owes what. This processing is necessary to provide you with the service you request by creating your account.
Who can see it
The content of a trip is visible only to the members of that trip. Joining a trip requires its invitation link or code. We don’t sell or rent your data, and we don’t share it with anyone for advertising.
To work, Traveli relies on two providers:
- Supabase hosts the database and the accounts, on servers located in the European Union (Paris).
- Open-Meteo is used to find a destination: when you type the name of a place, that text is sent to it so it can suggest matching cities. No identifier or other data goes with it.
The traveli.app website is hosted by Cloudflare. It sets no cookies. Its traffic is measured with Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool: it counts page views, countries, the sites visitors come from and the buttons clicked, anonymously and in aggregate, with no cookies and no tracking of individuals from one site to another.
Being notified of the launch
On traveli.app, you can leave your email address to be notified when the app launches. We keep only that address, the sign-up date and the page you signed up from. It is used to send you the launch announcement, then it is deleted within the following 3 months. It is stored with Supabase, in the European Union, and is never shared or sold. To have it removed earlier, write to us at contact@traveli.app.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account exists. You can delete it at any time in the app: tap your profile, then “Delete my account”. Deletion is immediate: your account and email are erased, you leave all your trips, and your messages, votes and availability disappear. The expenses, ideas and bookings you added remain visible to the other members under the name “Deleted account”, so that their accounts stay correct.
Security
Exchanges between the app and our servers are encrypted. Access rules check, on the server side, that only the members of a trip can read or edit its content.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you can at any time access your data, correct it, delete it, request a copy of it, or object to its use. Write to us at contact@traveli.app: we reply within one month.
If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority.
Minimum age
Traveli is intended for people aged 15 and over.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with its update date. In the event of a significant change, we will let you know in the app.
